At Aegis Wealth Partners, LLC we are committed to bringing cutting edge industry knowledge to our clients in the fields of Business Exit Planning and Strategy.  We also utilize expertise in employee benefits, compensations plans, financial, tax, estate, retirement, as well as late-stage college planning and student loan repayment strategies to help fulfill the financial needs of the business owner and his or her employees.

Here is a list of current designations obtained by Aegis Wealth Partners staff.

Certified Financial PlannerTM. The CFP® designation is a rigorous program that requires individuals to complete a university-sponsored study program.  Certificants have up to 21 months to complete this rigorous coursework in the field of ethics, financial planning, insurance, tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and investments followed by a capstone course to put all the concepts into use. Following successful completion of the education requirement, the certificant is required to pass a comprehensive 6 hour exam.

Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). As a CEPA, we help business owners unlock value in their companies to help them prepare for the eventual sale or transfer of the business to family, strategic partners or financial investors. We partner with attorneys, CPAs, valuation experts and other professionals in a collaborative setting to understand our clients' needs and time frame.

Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS). CEBS certification represents the pinnacle of employee benefits knowledge.  The CEBS program consists of 5 exams in the areas of company sponsored retirement plans, group health and welfare plans, as well as issues involved in the administration, regulation and compliance of these plans.

Enrolled Agent (EA). An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. It is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.

The Certified College Financial Consultant (CCFC) is the premier designation in the field of college planning that includes education funding, tax credits and deductions, and student loan advising.  We are able to guide our clients through the complexities of filing financial aid forms (FAFSA and CSS Profile), appeal and negotiate financial aid awards, and assist in searching for scholarships and grants.

College Funding and Student Loan Advisor (CFLSA). The College Funding and Student Loan Advisor (CFSLA) designation is a holistic learning experience that covers both college planning and student loan repayment strategies.
